Your parents may have been fond of telling you to enjoy your childhood years because they would be the best of your life. What they never told you was how much time and energy it takes to be an adult! - Lose a few pounds. If you’re like many adults, you’re lugging around a few extra pounds. And when you think about carrying around 20, 30, or 50 pounds in a backpack all day, you can easily see how adding that amount to your body weight could wear you out. Blame your sedentary lifestyle, your poor diet, your stress levels, or all of the above if you want, but when you make the changes that help you to drop excess weight, you’re going to start feeling a lot better and your energy should increase as a result.
- Get your zees. Sleep is what allows your body and mind to recover from the stresses and demands placed on them each and every day. Without adequate rest, you’re definitely going to suffer from fatigue and exhaustion, complete with a lack of focus, irritability, sluggishness, and other common associated symptoms. So whether you’re simply not devoting enough time to rest or you’re dealing with restless slumber, you need to do whatever you can to get your zees each night.
